Voice; action available for New Bark Town
This is Agent Carolina, reporting in from New Bark Town.
[Carolina’s tone is just as militaristic as ever, as though she’s making a call straight from Chorus. She holds the pokégear steady despite the squirming, wiggling growlithe in her other arm. Of course, the growlithe can't be seen, but his little wiggly yips can certainly be heard.]
I understand that I— hey, calm down—
[Yeah, hold that thought. Carolina has to put the growlithe down before she’s going to be able to say anything else.
There's a sigh before she starts to talk again.]
...Sorry about that.
I understand this line is a public channel, so if any of my men are hearing this, please send me your coordinates. Or.
[Right. They can't do that.]
...Just let me know if you're here.
Assuming they aren't here, I’d like to put out a request. I’m in charge of a crew of soldiers who refer to themselves as the reds and blues [(though, the way she says that, it sounds more like she’s their babysitter)] and if I’ve turned up here, it’s just as likely they will, too.
If you hear from anyone going by the names Washington, Church, Tucker, Simmons, Grif, Sarge, or Caboose, please send word to me. They can be a bit of a handful, but I’d really appreciate it.
[That last bit is said with a hint of an affectionate smile in her voice.]
In any case, thank you in advance, and it’s… nice to meet you all. I’m sure we’re not all here under the best of circumstances… but…
[She sounds lost for a moment, as if searching for the next thing to say.]
Anyway. Thank you for your time, and if… anyone is experienced with the pokémon ‘growlithe’, I’d appreciate any pointers.
Agent Carolina, signing out.
[but before she can disconnect..]
Hey, what are you-- No, don't bite that! What are you doi--
[As for action, Carolina can be found just outside New Bark, glaring at the ledges.]

[Voice]
That's how what works? Talking bear? ...Nnnnope, only I do that so far.
[Which is forever a shame.]
But if you ever meet anyone else who does, you should point them my way pronto.
[Voice]
[The bear puns... are because he's a talking bear? What?]
You've lost me, kid.
[Voice]
[DEEP INHALE.]
One, I am a man, thank you! Two, I am a man... who also happens to be a bear. ...But, you're all new so I guess it's okay that you didn't know. See, that's what they should start putting in those books that they give you. Anyway, everyone who comes here - and I mean EVERYONE - turns completely human.
You're probearly gonna run into all sorts of people who claim to be a bunch of different stuff.
[Voice]
[yeah no this just definitely got weirder than the reds and blues.]
I... I see. [No she doesn't.] I guess... that makes sense. [No it doesn't who in the universe has the technology to transform a being into a totally different species?!]
You're saying this is common around here?
[Voice]
[And it's a sad day when Teddie has to teach anyone.]
So just...try not to freak out if anyone tells you that kinda stuff.
[Voice]
[Somehow... that makes a little more sense. It's a law of whatever the transport is-- some kind of reality distorter. She's not a scientist, she's not going to put much more thought into it. Too bad Doctor Grey isn't around to have a fit over it.]
Alright... At least I'll know what to expect.
[Voice]
delibearate.
[He saw a chance and he took it.]
[Voice]
Wait, no, of course not. That didn't happen. Shut up.]
I see. Alright. Well, thanks for that, anyway.
[Voice]
You're laughing!
[Or...attempting...or something.]
[Voice]
[She sounds... mostly calm, but the smile in Carolina's voice is quite audible. Mostly because if she's not smiling she sounds either slightly snide or kinda mad.]
It's just a pun. Anyway...
[Voice]
[Somehow he doesn't believe her. Who could ever guess why?]
Now, I may not be a doctor, BUT IF I WAS, I'd say that was bearly a cough...
[Voice]
[Yeah sure ok Carolina.]
Mind if I get your name, kid?
[Voice]
[He'll beat that into the ground if he has to, or so help him.]
[Voice]
By 'a little', we mean a lot.]
Alright, buddy. Thanks for the help so far.
[.........Which. mostly means 'thanks for the small bit of information and for maybe making me laugh a little.']
[Voice]
I'm your buddy?!
[Thankfully this is a voice message, so no one can see Teddie squeeze his cheeks together like an idiot thanks to the uncontrollable joy he's experiencing right now.]
Y-You're welcome! If you ever need more help, you can call me wheneeeeever you want! I mean, there's not much I can tell you, but I will try so hard.
[Voice]
...But honestly, Teddie's not that far off from the reds and blues, so she isn't... as worried as she might otherwise be.]
Understood. [She's still smiling.]
Copy that, Teddie.
